World Youth Day - July 12 to 21, 2008
GODSPEED TO OUR YOUNG TRAVELERS! On
Saturday, July 12, our four young parishioners, Jacob
Bethem, Gareth Bury, T.J. Howard, Gemma Koury, and
Mr. Scott Martin, our Director of Religious
Education, left for Sydney, Australia to attend World Youth Day.
Please keep them and all who are on this faith journey in your prayers.
A very grateful THANK YOU to
all who have supported our efforts to raise money to send these young
pilgrims to Sydney. Also, a SPECIAL THANK YOU
to the anonymous donor who so faithfully sent a donation every week since
January 2008. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND FINANCIAL
SUPPORT!
Help Send Our Youth - Buy a Ticket!
The price has been reduced to $50 and the next
chance to win is Friday, August 1. The cash prize is $3,500
through January 2009 and the prize increases to $4,000 in February and March
2009. Tickets will be sold all week in the Parish Office from 9:00 AM
and 5:00 PM. Come support our youth!

Day at Sandcastle Waterpark - July 30, 2008
Each year, our altar servers are treated to a fun day in
appreciation for their service to our parish. Such a good time was had
last year that once again we are treating the altar servers to a day at
Sandcastle
Waterpark from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Mark your calendars for this
date. Letters have been sent to all altar servers. Please fill
out the form and return it to the Parish Office via the mail, collection
basket, or drop box in the breezeway of the Office by July 14.
Youth Group members may also attend for the discounted
price of $15.00. Please make your check out to Saint Sebastian Church.
A bus will be provided and all those attending must ride
the bus to and from Sandcastle.
