Thanksgiving Friendship Dinner

Over 200 people attended the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Guests were served turkey and all the trimmings along with dessert. Thanks to the volunteers who helped make the Friendship Dinner a most pleasant and memorable event: greeters, servers, kitchen helpers and especially the chefs, Gary Lenio and Thomas Schwendeman. Thanks to all who donated desserts to be shared at the dinner and thanks to Richard Lenio, our parishioner, who, as head of our Saint Sebastian Conference of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, has coordinated this event so grandly and efficiently. The number attending reaches beyond our parish and the Belle Vernon area to individuals from various communities and Churches in the mid-Mon Valley. It is good to see that the purpose of the dinner, to bring people together for Thanksgiving, is being achieved.
