| Saint Joseph the Worker, the foster father of Jesus and husband of Mary, was a carpenter who was compassionate and cared deeply about the safety of his wife and his Son, especially immediately before and after the birth of Christ. While not much is not known about Joseph, the Church celebrates two feast days for Joseph - March 19 for Joseph, the husband of Mary and May 1 for Joseph the Worker. Joseph is the patron of the dying, the universal Church, fathers, carpenters, and social justice. | |
