Diocesan Youth Celebration Canceled!
The Diocesan Youth Celebration has been canceled and rescheduled for April 24.
Distribution of Precious Blood
Bishop Brandt has announced that the restrictions
regarding the distribution of the Precious Blood for the faithful
and the exchange of the sign of peace are to be lifted effective
February 17, 2010. Because of concerns related to the H1N1
influenza, extraordinary measures had been implemented during this
flu season to protect the health of the faithful. On Ash
Wednesday, parishes within the diocese may resume their ordinary
practices in these matters.
Attention Cookbook Enthusiasts!
Our parish cookbook has arrived! Easter, Mother’s Day, June Weddings -- just a few of the special occasions you can give the gift of our Saint Sebastian Cookbook, or for your very own collection. You may place your order by filling out the form in this week's bulletin and returning it to the Parish Office. The cost is $10.00 per book.
48th Annual Pancake Festival
Please join us for the Annual Pancake Festival sponsored by the Belle Vernon Rotary on Tuesday, February 16 from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall. Tickets may be purchased from Rotary members or at the door.
Old Palm Collection
Ash Wednesday is February 17. The ashes for Ash Wednesday come from burning the palm from last Palm Sunday. You may bring your old palm to the church through Monday, February 15. Receptacles are located at all entrances.
Attention Ministers!
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are still needed for the 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM Masses on Ash Wednesday. If you are available, please contact the Parish Office to volunteer.
